Nifty Options Updates Today

Nifty traded in red for the fifth consecutive day as bulls were unable to get any respite tailing global & domestic cues closing Nifty below 6100 mark. In Call options 6100, 6200 & 6300 strike saw addition of 13600, 25000, & 12200 contracts respectively. In Put options 5700 & 6000 strike saw addition of 5300 contracts each. In November series highest build up is at 6000 put option & in call option it is at 6300 strike. The Implied Volatility of November at the money options increased from 17.79% to 18.72%. FIIs were net buyers worth Rs 333 Cr in cash market segment while DIIs were net seller of 783 Cr.

Nifty For Today

Technically Nifty is still weak and we now have a truncated weak ahead and this is a possibility of a volatile action and so if it happens then 6200 is a stiff resistance to deal with. The market unfolded weak as expected and has closed right on our support like a dot. Technically no sign of strength as yet and if it continues down then the next logical target is 5987. The support for Nifty is it 5987 and the resistance to the up move at 6200-6125-6250
